live data · 18 markets · refreshed continuously

Find apps winning somewhere — missing somewhere else.

The same app that's #1 in the US can be invisible in Germany, France or Türkiye — not because nobody wants it, but because nobody localised it. Appitraj watches the App Store across 18 markets and tells you exactly where the gaps are, before anyone else notices.

// origin story

While I was a student I noticed an app called Insect Identifier dominating the US App Store. In Germany, when I searched for insekten erkennen, the same English app was still ranking #1 — because nobody had built a localised competitor.

So I built one. The traffic came to me. That's the gap.

— Halis, Co-founder

That's not an isolated story. There are thousands of apps right now, dominant in their home market, leaving every other market wide open. Appitraj automates the part Halis did by hand: finding the next one before it closes.

"Top 10 leaders for meditation in DE are mostly English-only with declining ratings (avg 3.6); a polished German-localised meditation app has a clear wedge into a high-demand market with a soft incumbent."

// faq

Things people ask before signing up.

What's an App Store gap?
When an app is dominant in one market but missing — or only available in English — somewhere else with real search demand, that's a gap. The original is leaving money on the table because they never localized. A polished, properly-localized competitor walks into that demand with no real opposition.
Where does the data come from?
Live App Store data: rankings, metadata, languages, ratings, last-updated dates, and search results. Refreshed continuously and cached on a 7-day TTL so popular queries are instant on subsequent runs.
Which markets do you cover?
18 of the highest-volume App Store regions today: US, GB, DE, FR, IT, ES, NL, SE, PL, TR, BR, MX, CA, AU, JP, KR, CN, IN. Every scan and every market matrix runs across all 18. More on the roadmap.
Do I need to build a new app to use this?
Usually not. Most operators ship the same app with localized title, subtitle, keyword field, and screenshots. Appitraj hands you the exact keyword to target, the rating bar to clear, and the languages the leaders aren't speaking. You bring the build; we bring the intelligence.
How does scoring actually work?
Each market gets a gap score derived from search demand (popularity proxy from rating volume), supply density (how saturated the top 10 SERP is with the keyword), the leader's share of total reviews (concentration), and per-app localization coverage. The model surfaces markets where demand is real and the incumbent has a soft underbelly.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Seven days, 100 credits, no card required. Enough to run a couple of scans and a few localisation-gaps lookups before you hit the wall — sized to let you feel the product, not to run a full month free. Want to try without signing up at all?
